Finally, the Danish concept store, Tiger, has hit US shores, and I paid my first visit yesterday. What a treat! The timing of their opening could not have been better for me, as I’m two weeks away from my daughter’s fifth birthday. Known for their quirky, Scandinavian-style home, stationery, and personal care items, as well as their incredible affordability (seriously, 90% of their inventory is under $15), the NYC store did not disappoint. I came away with loads of presents for the birthday girl, the most unique party favors (a real dilemma for me, but that’s another post topic), and a few goodies for myself, including the jauntiest pair of navy striped espadrilles (at only $4, I now wish I’d bought the red, too!).
